That’s a wrap on this year’s Canada-US-Mexico Free Trade Commission meeting in Mexico! With nearly $2 trillion of trade flowing across our borders each year - making CUSMA the most successful free trade agreement in the world - there was a lot to catch up on.
When the Canada-US-Mexico agreement was renegotiated, we made sure to secure a sustainable future for Canadians, and an inclusive approach to trade so that all North American businesses and workers can benefit.
At the end of the day, Canada is a trading country through and through! Keeping North America competitive is always top of mind, and we know that empowering small businesses all while protecting the environment through responsible trade practices is what will get us there.
