Taking Action on Climate Change

Climate change is real and Canadians want real action to fight it.

That's why our government has taken a number of bold actions to combat climate change. These progressive steps include:

The Canada Greener Homes Grant, a $2.6-billion program to provide 700,000 Canadian homeowners with a grant of up to $5000 to upgrade their homes to make them more energy efficient.	Putting price on pollution to address climate change and provided a rebate to ensure 8 out of 10 Canadians families will have more money in their pocket each year.
Committing to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, including the interim 40% reduction target by 2025 for regular federal government facilities and vehicles.	Implementing a Clean Fuel Standard that will reduce carbon pollution by 30 million tonnes—equal to taking more than seven million cars off the road.
