Minister Ng launches the first Canada-Indonesia Economic Task Force

While in Jakarta, we launched the first Canada-Indonesia Economic Task Force. Coordinating Minister Luhut and I discussed what is important to our businesses and workers, including ensuring stability for Canadian investment, building resilient supply chains, addressing food security and growing our green economies.
While meeting with Coordinating Minister Airlangga, we agreed to keep up the momentum of our negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) that will benefits jobs, workers, and Minister Yakut access for Canadian halal food products.
From natural resources to technology, agriculture to commerce, our collaboration knows no bounds.
