That's a wrap on another successful trip to Manitoba and BC! From announcing supports for women entrepreneurs in Winnipeg, to seeing sustainable and Indigenous wine making practices in the Okanagan, this visit had lots of highlights. We sat down with Filipina entrepreneurs ahead of my trip to the Philippines this fall, visited Global Agriculture Trans-Loading Inc. to see our supply chains in action, and met with small business owners who are scaling up across the country. To wrap up the trip we stopped by @gormanbros_lumber to reiterate our support for the industry amidst unjust US tariffs on softwood lumber and saw Northern Cherries who have gained new market access to South Korea! It was the cherry on top of a great visit.
