As a key pillar of our #IndoPacific Strategy, these #TeamCanada Trade missions will open new doors for businesses in the region.

 

With both the Canada in Asia conference and the Asian Business Leaders Advisory Council (ABLAC) happening this week, Canada’s energy and enthusiasm could be felt by the entire Island.

 

While in Singapore, we also:

- Announced funding of $1 million per year to support Canadian chambers in facilitating the expansion of businesses in the region.

- Met with Minister Gan to begin a dialogue on cooperation in the green economy, including with the private sector.

- Continued working towards expanding the launch of Canada's trade gateway in Singapore.
