From Markham-Thornhill to Detroit

It was just over a year ago that I hosted Ambassador Katherine Tai in my riding of Markham-Thornhill, and we visited the
General Motors innovation center. I saw today what I saw then - that Canada and the United States are always stronger, together.
Self driving cars are being built in Detroit with technology from Markham, (and soon!) using processed minerals from Bécancour.
Whether you’re from Markham, ON or Warren, MI - GM is showing that good jobs, innovation, and sustainability go hand-in-hand.
